At its AGM held in Edinburgh on Saturday, Table Tennis Scotland bestowed
Honorary Life Membership on Dave Beveridge in recognition of Dave’s
outstanding service over many years to St Andrews TTC and Dundee &
District Association.

Much could be written about the work Dave has done for our club as Treasurer and team secretary, but it can best be summarised by looking at his role in our having four new rollaway tables to set up from this week : Dave drafted the application for a grant from St Andrews Community Trust, met with their representative to cement the deal, ordered the tables from suppliers Thorntons, organised outlets for the
old tables, and finally swapped bat for toolbox at Cosmos to spend two evenings on assembling the eight halves.
